Rules for Alienating Members
1. Tell them, "That’s not my job."
2. Assume the member is wrong.
3. Shove the problem off onto someone else on staff.
4. Blame the member for the problem.
5. Assume the member is trying to pull a fast one.
6. Arrange your workday so you don’t have to waste time talking with members.
Follow these six rules and you can be sure the members, and the association, won’t be around for long! |
